When I first got started with machine embroidery, I had no idea what I was getting myself into! Here on my blog and YouTube Channel, I want to help you easily learn how to get started with machine embroidery so that you can make beautiful things faster and easier!

Here are a list of post and links that will help you learn more about how to start.

#1 Pick a machine that you want to buy

This can be tricky, so I have put together a guide book to help you figure out which is the best machine for you.

#2 Gather your Supplies

I have a whole post all about what supplies I use and where I buy them. Little did I know that when I started that I needed more than the machine and thread. There is a long list of supplies that are really important for you to complete a variety of projects successfully.

#3 Learn about Embroidery Software

Here is a post all about Embrilliance Embroidery Software that I use and recommend. Software is one of the biggest things that you need to purchase on your supply list. This is a huge selection on the web of beautiful embroidery designs. Having software makes it possible for you to open and view those designs on your computer, make edits to them like resizing, and use embroidery fonts to add lettering to designs. When are ready to learn more, digitizing software allows you to create your own embroidery designs.

#4 All About Stabilizers

This post tells you all about different embroidery stabilizers and how to use them. I also have a cheat sheet that tells you what kind of stabilizer you should use for different projects.

#5 Go Shopping for Designs

In this post I go over some of my favorite places to buy embroidery designs and fonts. I also show you that there are several free designs that you can download from my favorite stores for you to use to practice with.
